Malted Banana Smoothie

Take a trip to the malt shop without leaving home when you whip up these malted banana smoothies.
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 1 ripe medium banana, peeled and sliced
- 1/4 cup malted-milk powder, such as Ovaltine or Carnation
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 ice cubes, crushed
- Combine milk, banana, malted-milk powder, brown sugar, vanilla and ice cubes in a blender; blend until smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.
Per serving: 320 calories; 5 g fat (3 g sat, 1 g mono); 18 mg cholesterol; 57 g carbohydrates; 11 g protein; 2 g fiber; 240 mg sodium; 557 mg potassium.
