I made this for my husband and me, adding 2 teaspoons of fresh lemon juice and italian seasoning instead of straight oregano (2 tsp) as well as one finely minced garlic clove & 1 tsp. of good white wine. It was positively devine!! My husband - who doesn't care for asparagus - loved it & wants it in the regular rotation! Sooooo great!

This is a delicious and easy preparation. After preparing the asparagus, we cut into one-inch pieces and tossed with whole wheat penne pasta.
So simple, so great! Good warm or at room temp. I used lemon juice too for great tang.
