Lean & Spicy Taco Meat

A combination of lean ground beef and ultra-lean ground turkey breast makes a less-greasy filling. Bypass taco-seasoning packets in favor of making your own full-flavored filling.

"It was good, nothing AH-MAZING, but good enough for my husband to stop eating and say, "Hmm. This is good." Great go to recipe. "

Altered recipe with ingredients I had on hand...using 16oz. of beef and 3/4 cup of ready-made salsa sauce (medium heat) instead of the canned tomatoes. Tossed the meat mixture on lime taco chips which were sprinkled with shredded cheddar cheese (placed on cookie sheet). Baked in oven (375 degrees) until cheese was melted. Served with guacamole and a tossed salad. My husband loved the flavors.
Yum! Love having a recipe for a taco sauce (used chili powder).

This meat was good, nothing to exciting. I suggest adding some salt, but add to taste.
Also not very spicy, so if you are expecting spice, add something to make it that way
