Correction. I used a 300

Correction. I used a 300 degree oven preheated oven for 11 minutes rotated pan for 12 mintues more for the perfect chip. I also used parchment paper to make it mess free with 3 min cooldown... Too many recipes not enough time..

ALWAYS w/excellent results: 190 to 200 degrees F. Clean, cut and season kale (onion-garlic salt, paprika, chile season, etc. Put on a sheet pan, do not heap and bake 1 hr. EXCELLENT results

Baked for an hour??

Baked for an hour??

I dry mine in the microwave for 1.30 mins and then spray lightly with light olive oil, sprinkle with salt and put in oven for about 1 minute on 175 - no burnt taste

Change temperature

The chips are good but I cut the cooking time to 4 minutes and they started to burn. My next batch I did at 300 degrees and no burning.

oil and salt make them tasty

I cooked at 350 for 10

I cooked at 350 for 10 minutes. Yes, you do have to watch them closely but I believe lower than 400 recommened in the above recipe might be the key.
I did turn the bigger pieces and went for the last minute to make sure to remove all the water in the kale.

Cooking time completely off

Cooking times says 8-12 minutes. I decided to cook them 6 minutes to start off with. When I opened up my oven after 6 minutes a got a face full of smoke and two trays of black kale. Tried again with the second batch for 4 minutes. and that was much closer to being correct. Kale isn't cheap so I'm a little bummed that I wasted half of my money cooking as directed.
