Jojo's Party Mix

November/December 1998

Your rating: None Average: 3.1 (48 votes)

Our more sophisticated version of crunchy party mix gets its irresistible, rich taste from olive oil and a bit of Parmesan cheese rather than the better part of a stick of butter, or worse, margarine. With two-thirds less fat (none of it saturated) you can forget about that other stuff.

READER'S COMMENT:
"I just made it, a few comments: It will burn if you cook it at 350 - you are better off at 300. Also, I only cooked it for 20 minutes. I also added about 1/4 cup of raw almonds (yum), I know it bumps up the calories, but well worth it....
