Indian-Spiced Chicken Pitas

Make a perfect summer supper: grill spice-rubbed chicken breasts and tuck them into whole-wheat pitas along with fresh vegetables and a tangy yogurt sauce. Serve with: Grilled vegetables and a pilsner.

Indian with American Flair

I make Indian on a regular basis so I already had the "hard to find" ingredients. I must say that I do agree with the other reviews about the bland-ness. I have a host of other Indian spices so I mixed some together and created something a bit more flavorful.

It's a great idea to stick them in pitas and it makes for a pretty quick meal. It's going to make repeat performances in this house!

Not bad, but definitely not a keeper. Pretty flavorless. Filled us up though. (PS - couldn't find Garam Masala at Waldbaum's, King Kullen or Stop & Shop. Finally found it at Whole Foods.)

This recipe is delicious!! It is one of our favorites now. I had trouble finding Garam Masala, but I eventually found it and it was definately worth it.
