Honey-Soy Broiled Salmon

August/September 2006, EatingWell for a Healthy Heart Cookbook (2008)

Your rating: None Average: 4.2 (384 votes)

A sweet, tangy and salty mixture of soy sauce, rice vinegar and honey does double-duty as marinade and sauce. Toasted sesame seeds provide a nutty and attractive accent. Make it a meal: Serve with brown rice and sautéed red peppers and zucchini slices.

Quick and easy, even for a man. I used my George Foreman grill instead of the oven. It was delicious as well as an attractive dish.

I have never been a fan of salmon but tried this recipe and now I'm hooked. It was delicious. I didn't have rice vinegar so I substituted Balsamic vinegar and it tasted great. I would strongly recommend this!

This is a very good easy and delicious recipe. We found this some time ago in one of the issues of Eating Well and it has become one of our favorite salmon recipes that we enjoy often. The soy sauce, honey and rice vinegar marinade is extremely good. Just watch toasting the sesame seeds they toast quickly but I would recommend not skipping this as they add the finishing touch that makes this an outstanding dish.
