I thought this was great. It does taste a LOT like store-bought Hamburger Helper. So, if you don't like that, I doubt you will like this even though it uses healthier, fresher ingredients.
I sifted through the many reviews before making this because I didn't want to not like it and waste food. My substitutions were:
-- Lean Beef-style Veggie Protein instead of the beef
--Only one teaspoon of thyme
--vegetable broth instead of beef broth
--an extra teaspoon of salt
Depending on what brand of veggie protein you use, this gets the calories way down and you can have a heartier serving. Remember, eating serving after serving of healthy food isn't a lot better than eating Hamburger Helper for real!! I saw a lot of reviews where people said they ate almost the whole thing and I definitely had to curb that impulse.
