I make this at least once a month. It is a huge amount of food. My husband, toddler and I can get two nights of dinner plus lunch for a least one of us from one batch. I've made it with ground beef, chicken and turkey. I don't add any water, just reduced sodium beef broth equal to the total amount of liquid called for. My daughter loves this. Though she isn't picky, this dish would be a fantastic way to trick anti-veg kids into eating them.
