any recipe that uses a microwave is an offense to foodies. I know it can be adapted to skip that step, but it's offensive that a site claiming to be all about health even allows microwaves in a recipe. I'll skip this, and find a better recipe. There are thousands out there that don't suggest this toxic short cut.

I'm not a fan of the nuker
I'm not a fan of the nuker either but I feel like this review doesn't reflect a true review of the recipe. I want to know how it turned out and tasted. Not how you don't approve of the technique. This is an easy fix in a recipe.
I agree with mimi_jenkins.
I agree with mimi_jenkins. Anyone who knows anything about healthy cooking and nutrition, knows the benefits of cooking in a microwave!
Actually Microwave cooking is quite safe and not toxic at all. Helps keep more nutrients in your food as it cooks it quicker. Do your homework and don't listen to conspiracy theories. Basing a review off one step you disagree and when alternatives are provided is ridiculous.
Toxic short cut . . . you've got to be kidding!!
