Start your day with a burst of antioxidants in this uplifting green tea-fruit smoothie.

"Sounds kind of "thin" to me. I think for a better consistency I would use only 1 cup of fruit including some banana (not more then 1/2 cup) and 1 cup of non-fat or low-fat plain yogurt. I realize this changes the smoothie quite a bit but...
Green Tea-Fruit Smoothie

Makes: 2 servings, 1 cup each

  • 2 cups frozen unsweetened mixed fruit, (peaches, melon and grapes)
  • 3/4 cup hot brewed green tea
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice


  1. Combine fruit, tea, honey and lemon juice in a blender; blend until smooth and frothy. Serve immediately.
