10 Reviews for Green Smoothie
I love this recipe, it's delicious and i'm impressed for my first go at a green smoothie. It makes me want to try others too. The consistency I think will depend on your blender. I used a magic bullet for mine and had to first blend it, then switch to the puree blade to finish it off, but it came out really smooth and a pretty shade of green that's not off putting at all. It tastes a lot like strawberries and bananas to me and my 3 year old(even though there's no strawberries in it). Drinking it, it's not too thick and not chunky (again, it probably depends on the blender you use). I believe if my 3 year old loves this then probably any kid would if they could get past the look of it. Really great thank you!
Does any one else's look like vomit I don't know what I did wrong?! It tastes good but unless I close my eyes its hard to stomach..
This was my first green smoothie. My husband and I enjoyed it tremendously. I realized too late that we were out of orange juice - so I squeezes a blood orange and a tangerine (that was all I had) and supplemented a little mire liquid with water to get 1/2 cup. My banannas were very ripe. We loved it!
Great smoothie! I used unsweetened coconut milk instead of the water and it was very yummy. My teenager son and 4 year old twins loved it. I would probably add more flax seed next time.
