Great party dish

I made this for a BBQ and it was a big hit. I did use green peas because that is what I had. The flavor was unique, fresh, and aromatic.

Tastes greatd as a dip and a condement
I'll make this again!

I wasn't going to make a separate trip to a different store to find yellow split peas so I used green. I think the only thing I'll do differently next time is use just a little less water in cooking the peas to make it thicker. My friends all asked for the recipe!
