Ruby-Red Grapefruit Cocktail

This gorgeous sparkling grapefruit cocktail recipe combines gin, Campari, fresh grapefruit juice and seltzer. The touch of Campari enhances its beautiful red color, but if you prefer a less bitter drink, omit it.


Ruby-Red Grapefruit Cocktail Recipe

Makes: 4 servings, scant 1 cup each

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups red or pink grapefruit juice, preferably fresh-squeezed
  • 1 1/2 cups plain seltzer
  • 1/2 cup gin
  • 2 tablespoons Campari
  • Ice cubes
  • Grapefruit wedges or slices for garnish

Preparation

  1. Stir grapefruit juice, seltzer, gin and Campari together in a pitcher.
  2. Fill 4 glasses with ice and top with the cocktail mixture. Garnish with grapefruit, if desired.
