Gingered Peach Gratin Recipe

4 servings

Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • 4 peaches, halved and pitted
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 gingersnaps, crushed

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place peaches cut-side up in a shallow 1-quart baking dish. Bring sugar, lemon juice, water and ginger to a simmer in a small saucepan. Pour over the peaches and sprinkle with gingersnaps.
  3. Bake until the peaches are tender and the syrup is thickened, 15 to 20 minutes.
