"The sauce is very bland but as I was mixing it together I added some Mrs. Dash- Tomato, Basil & Garlic to the sauce and also added a little bit of hot sauce to spice it up. It turned out GREAT. "

Delish!

This was super tasty and SO easy! I made a few minor adjustments based on the reviews:

-used 3 good sized cloves of garlic
-added a few dashes of hot sauce to the sauce
-didn't use red pepper (personal preference!)

Perfect for a quick weeknight dinner, will definitely be putting in regular rotation.

Made "as is" the first time

Made this last night for the first time and followed the recipe almost perfectly; I left out the pine nuts. I really enjoyed the brief cooking of the vegetables and shrimp in the pasta water. I think I would have zested the lemon and used maybe 3/4 of the recommended amount of lemon juice. I like the addition of more herbs that others have suggested. I would also throw in some extra garlic and a little zing of red pepper flakes for a spicier version. This recipe for 2 made us 4 servings and I happily packed the leftovers for lunch. Already sent a copy off to my best friend and my sister.

Great one bowl meal for two.

Great dish!

I really enjoyed this. It was easy to make, and was very light. I didn't change the recipe except to double it, and the leftovers were great the next day. Don't leave out the pine nuts!

It's amazing that this dish is low in calories, I feel so full after eating it. Great dish, but the sauce was a bit bland, even after I added extra garlic.
