Toss a garlicky, Middle Eastern-inspired yogurt sauce with pasta, shrimp, asparagus, peas and red bell pepper for a fresh, satisfying summer meal. Serve with: Slices of cucumber and tomato tossed with lemon juice and olive oil.

I found the sauce to be bland. I had to keep adding things to it to get any flavor out of it. I am not the biggest fan of asparagus and thats the only thing I kept tasting. My friends thought it was alright but did not recommend I make it again.

It's strange that it seemed bland to you, I thought it was full of flavor, just the wrong kind of flavor to be enjoyable. It was very tart and the yogurt added a funny after-taste.

Very tasty, but ease up on the lemon juice

Very fast and easy to make. Love that you throw it all together at the end. Makes a very nice presentation. Could halve the lemon juice though. It is a bit tart, but my 7 year old cleaned her plate. Enough said. :)

I used Greek yogurt mind you, but it curdled when I put it with the pasta.

Well, i made it exactly the way they told me to and i found it to be a little tangy/tart but not enough. Although the people i made it for liked it, so i'll give them the recipe, but i was not a fan. i found it to be really bland, and although pretty to look at boring. However i must say i was quite relieved to see how many people made substitutions in the reviews. i think i'll try the recipe several more times with their changes. thanks reviewers!

tasty w/some mods

substituted 8 oz can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/2 cup of lactaid (didn't have yogurt) and added paprika and a bit more garlic. left out the lemon juice. DELICIOUS!! very flavorful. will make again!
