So sorry to have wasted a meal. The recipe looked so good, but the sauce ruined it! We ended up just eating the veggies and shrimp and threw out the pasta with the funky sauce!

Toss a garlicky, Middle Eastern-inspired yogurt sauce with pasta, shrimp, asparagus, peas and red bell pepper for a fresh, satisfying summer meal. Serve with: Slices of cucumber and tomato tossed with lemon juice and olive oil.

I was pretty hesitant to try this recipe given all the negative reviews, but I had pretty much everything for it already, so why not?
I did use half the lemon juice since that had come up a lot, used Greek yogurt instead of regular since I've heard it's creamier and won't curdle, and put in a few more garlic cloves because my boyfriend and I are big garlic fans.
First bite was "interesting", but as I kept eating it, I realized I really liked it! I definitely think it's a good summer pasta since it's more refreshing and won't make you feel toooo heavy afterward. The yogurt-y taste is much more mild the day after, too. I found myself slurping up the sauce...
If you're thinking you'll taste something like alfredo sauce, then of course you'll be disappointed. But I personally thought it was very good, very refreshing, and loaded with good stuff!
PS. The toasted pine nuts really added to it, delish!

This recipe was horrible. I followed it closely at first (minus half the lemon juice) to see if the other reviewers who gave it a bad review were wrong. When I finished with the normal recipe and it turned out poorly I followed a few different tweeks to the recipe (added cilantro and parsley) (then added more garlic) (then tried a little parmesan) and none of the tweeks made it much more edible.
It saddens me to say that there really is no saving this recipe and I would recommend just moving on to something more edible. The ingredients just don't blend well together.

I've been using serveral of these recipes and this is the first one to completely let me down. GROSS!!! dont waste your time. good luck if you decide to make this you'll need to go buy dinner after

This is the most horrible dish I have ever made. It looks boring and taste boring. I ate one spoon and threw the rest to garbage, what a waste! You definitely need to read reviews before you cook.
