- 1/4 cup reduced-sodium soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon five-spice powder
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- Whisk soy sauce and sugar until the sugar is dissolved. Stir in five-spice powder and garlic. Marinate: 1 to 2 hours. Discard marinade before grilling.
