Fast Strawberry Frozen Yogurt
From EatingWell: September 1997
Though we use strawberries here, you can use whatever frozen fruit you have on hand in this instant frozen yogurt.
- 1 16-ounce package frozen unsweetened strawberries, (about 3 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 cup sugar, preferably instant-dissolving
- 1/2 cup nonfat plain yogurt
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Combine strawberries and sugar in a food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Combine yogurt and lemon juice in a measuring cup; with the machine on, gradually pour the mixture through the feed tube. Process until smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the workbowl once or twice. Serve immediately.
