This is so good! Instead of the ketchup/chili sauce I used tomato puree, added 2 cloves of crushed garlic, a liberal sprinkling of chili powder, a dash of cayenne, and just a bit of honey. Looking forward to the leftovers!

Very good and also better for you Sloppy Joes.
My husband doesn't normally like sloppy joes because they normally are greasy.
He gives the thumbs-up for this sloppy joes.
The flavors in this recipe hit the spot. I did use ground turkey meet with a dash of Worcestershire sauce and a little salt and pepper to begin the dish. I also added a small or 15 oz can of crushed organic fire roasted tomatoes instead of the chopped plum tomatoes. This will, indeed, be a "go to" big treat for us.
To make this recipie even more healthy, I use ground turkey instead of ground beef. I think it is extremely tasty and good for you too!
This was AMAZING!!!! I used more tomatoes than it called for and used 96% lean beef. I served it with whole wheat buns, however I ate mine over a baked potato. I cannot wait to make this again!!!
