I never thought I liked porridge but this was deliousous! I swaped the milk for almond milk and dates for prunes due to dietary requirements but its was just perfect with a little apple, chopped walnuts and teaspoon of Greek yoghurt, can't wait to have it again

I also didn't have any cinnamon sticks, so I added a little bit of ground cinnamon - delicious!
Will definitely add this to my repitoire, with little added sugar it was perfectly sweet too.
This recipe was super easy and quick and was a nice alternative to plain oatmeal. I was looking for a way to use up some extra dates and eat oatmeal pretty often. This recipe was really good. I didn't have any cinnamon stick on hand so I used ground cinnamon, and I always use half milk/half water for my oatmeal (cut out a few more calories), but those were the only changes I made. I would definitely recommend and will make again.
