Caraway and cauliflower are a match that brings to mind wursts, kraut and foamy, cold mugs of beer. Alas, not everyone loves that caraway flavor so leave out the caraway seeds if you prefer—the salad's wonderful either way.

This is delicious! The first time I made it I didn't have shallots or carraway seeds - don't skip those ingredients. They make a big difference in the flavor. Julia, Chicago, IL |

We really enjoyed this salad. I cut back a little on the shallot as the flavor was a bit overpowering. Topping each serving with a tablespoon of crumbled gorgonzola adds only about 25 calories and complements the flavors perfectly. Deb, Allentown, PA |

It was really good and a great way to include cauliflower with the dinner for the whole family. I'd suggest using a bit more vinegar in the dressing, for those anti-mayo types. Annie, Portland, ME |
