"I made this last night to use up the last of our Thanksgiving turkey and it was fantastic. I did add 2c extra broth and 1t of herbs de provence. Also I got some store brand wild rice mix similar to rice-a-roni and tossed the sesoning...

Delicious! My long grain and wild rice packet included seasoning, so I just left out the parsely. And I also added 2-3 cloves of minced garlic, which gave the soup a great flavor. Definitely recommend!

I used wild mushrooms, simmer a whole chicken and used broth for base. Added Sherry when cooking mushrooms. Had friends over for football. They loved it!

Made this with a left over turkey breast and it is really good. You will need extra broth. I also put in a bay leaf, pinch of red pepper and rosemary and thyme. I think you will all enjoy it.

I made this with leftover chicken I had frozen. It turned out really yummy. I am sure it would be just as good with the turkey. I used regular wild rice and just let it simmer until it was done. I served this with cresent rolls.
