Citrus Berry Smoothie
From EatingWell: July/August 2008
This meal-in-a-glass smoothie is bursting with berries and orange juice, healthful sources of carbohydrate and powerful antioxidants. Getting plenty of antioxidant-rich foods makes sense for active people, since free radicals are produced any time the body's cells process oxygen.

I made this with whole grain oats (oatmeal) and it was a wonderful breakfast that stayed with me all morning.
This smoothie is great as is but I bumped up the nutrients with a little raw baby spinach and alfalfa sprouts. The flavor doesnt change much at all. A great way to get greens into the kids!
This is a great breakfast! I used a combination of frozen blueberries, raspberries and blackberries. It was delicious and very filling. I will definitely make this one again!
