Chocolate Sauce Recipe

Makes: 1/4 cup

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons skim milk
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon canola oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 scoops vanilla frozen yogurt or raspberry sorbet

Preparation

  1. Sift together cocoa, cornstarch and sugar in a small saucepan. Gradually whisk in milk. Whisk in corn syrup. Bring to a boil, whisking. Reduce heat to low and simmer until thickened. Remove from heat and whisk in oil and vanilla.
