"It was better when I made it into a grilled cheese sandwich on wheat bread. Buttert both slices of bread, use 2 slices of 2 % sharp cheddar cheese with thin slices of your chose of apples. I used gala apples and cook. It is awesome. "
Cheddar-Apple Melt Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 whole-wheat English muffin, toasted
  • 2 teaspoons jam, or chutney
  • 4 thin apple slices
  • 2 slices reduced-fat Cheddar cheese

Preparation

  1. Top English muffin with jam (or chutney), apple and cheese. Toast in a toaster oven or under the broiler until the cheese is melted.
