We took the classic flavors of Buffalo wings—hot sauce, blue cheese, carrots and celery—and created a finger-licking-good casserole. Serve this dish during football season to a hungry crowd and it’s sure to be a hit. We don’t typically recommend ingredients by brand name, but in this case we make an exception for Frank’s RedHot Sauce. It has the perfect balance of spice and tang for this casserole. Texas Pete and Crystal hot sauces are suitable alternatives if you can’t find Frank’s.

"Seriously good! I doubled the blue cheese and Frank's Red Hot sauce and I used 2% milk, and it was awesome! My husband loved it and our 17 month old even had a few tastes from my plate and was licking her fingers and lips! I will...

One of the few recipes I did not like

This truly lacked flavor. I was shocked. I read the reviews and followed the tips to add the cheese into & on top of the casserole, and I added additional Frank's hot sauce, but it still had NO flavor. This is one recipe I won't be making again.

Really Good!

This was actually really good! I used 2c skim milk and 1/3c all-purpose flour (i did not have corn starch), and i mixed in half of the blue cheese in the sauce and the rest on top. I threw a can of diced tomatoes in and I also used 6oz of buffalo sauce and it was perfect!! Great recipe! My only problem was that I thought I could fit everything into my big pan, mistake!

i forgot to mention i only used 8oz. of pasta and turned out great!

Yummy buffalo casserole

This casserole was a huge hit with my boyfriend and I! I used franks buffalo sauce and shell pasta, I also added a can of tomatoes with chilies. Since I don't like blue cheese I just topped it with Mexican mix and then my boyfriend put blue cheese dressing on it! Will definitely be making again.

Not visually appealing

The dish smelled great, but the sauce turned out to be light pink after you add the hot sauce. My husband loved it, but me and my son thought it was not appealing; light pink glop, yuck. I will not be making it again.

This is for everyone....Franks buffalo wing sauce and Franks hot sauce are not the same. The wing sauce is weaker and to me personally if I wanted something hot tasting would not use this, but use only as a marinade the chicken. Thanks for your time.

Creamy goodness!

I adjusted the recipe to serve 4. Used less than the suggested amount of pasta. I had Frank's Buffalo sauce and I doubled the amount, and added a can of diced tomatoes, which really added a nice flavor to the dish. I also sweated the veggies and added the garlic at the same time as the chicken. This was a fun recipe and I would make it again. Thanks to everyone else who left good comments!
