Very easy to make and very delicious. Whole family loved it.
Braised Paprika Chicken
From EatingWell: January/February 2009
Sweet Hungarian paprika gives this creamy braised chicken the best flavor. This is a good “pantry dish” since you should have the basics on hand and only need to purchase the chicken. You may vary the recipe by using cubed veal shoulder instead of chicken and mushrooms instead of peppers. Serve with whole-wheat orzo flavored with minced parsley or dill.

I was surprised by how tasty this dish turned out. The sauce was very flavorful and the chicken really absorbed the spices. Served it with whole wheat pasta. Would make it again.
Delicious! this one is a keeper. I didn't have chicken still on the bone so I used boneless skinless chicken breast and it came out great. I don't have a crock pot so I used one of my regular pans with a lid and the chicken was done in about 25 minutes. I'm so glad there is recipes like this that aren't loaded with fat and calories that taste much better than fast food and even better than some of the popular dishes at restaurant chains. You don't have to have it fried or filled with cheese to feel pretty darn satisfied.
Yum, so good, this turned out fantastic. Next time, I think I will try it with boneless chicken breasts just so we don't have to deal with the chicken bones.
