Not healthy. Loaded with sugars.

It is not every day that you get a sweet and tangy barbecue sauce that also boasts a healthy dose of antioxidants. Try it with beef, chicken, pork or even some grilled shrimp.

I read the reviews here and seemed kinda skeptical about whether or not this would actually be good. It is. It's amazing. This was my first attempt at making BBQ sauce and it turned out incredibly good. I like a sweet sauce with a lingering spice..."zesty". This sauce delivers.
Notice how the recipe calls for "1-2 Jalapeno peppers". I did one big one, and I actually increased the recipe by about 50% in size and it was almost perfect for me, and I like things spicy. My wife thought it was almost too spicy, and she's a wimp, but hopefully that gives you some idea of where you can make some changes to really affect jhow much zip your sauce has. If it was me, I'd add another next time, or cut the recipe back to the correct size with 1 giant Jalapeno, but again, I like to sweat a little when I eat spicy foods.
The blueberries add a nice flavor and some sweetness for sure, but if you like a sweet sauce, use a little more molasses or brown sugar as I think the blueberries are more for flavor than sweetness.
Lastly, I've goikng to work on a way to puree the sauce before adding the blueberries. The final sauce is chunky with onion, jalapeno, garlic and blueberries. I think I'd prefer to make a standard sauce that was nice and smooth in texture, so I may try throwing this in the food processor next time.
In short (too late) this sauce is awesome and worth making again and again. Good luck.

I followed the recipe exactly - had it with pork; it was delicious - so tangy and full of flavor. I will definitely be making it again!

MMMmmmm! I love blueberries and I LOVE barbecue sauce, so I can"t wait to try this.

I tried it for a graduation party and it was a big hit!
I marinated chicken overnight in the sauce, grilled the chicken on the barbecue and used the extra I had made when I served the chicken
