Blue Cheese & Fig Bite

Fresh figs, blue cheese and a drizzle of honey top toasted baguette slices for a magical, flavorful combination in this easy appetizer recipe. Look for fresh figs May through December in well-stocked supermarkets and specialty-foods stores.
- 9 fresh Mission figs, thinly sliced
- 24 slices baguette, preferably whole-wheat, toasted
- 3/4 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 2 teaspoons honey
- Divide figs among baguette slices (about 3 fig pieces each). Top each with 1 teaspoon blue cheese and drizzle with honey.
