Ingredients

  • 1 16-ounce can black-eyed peas, rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons red-wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Hot sauce to taste

Preparation

  1. Combine black-eyed peas, oil, vinegar, garlic, thyme and hot sauce in a blender. Puree until smooth.
