The salsa was delicious!!! Very fresh and tasty. The croquettes were bland. I added more chile powder than called for but apparently not enough. DH and I put it all in a flour tortilla and it was edible but I won't be making again. (except the salsa!)

Loved these! I didn't have to cans of black beans so I used one black and one can of white beans. My family loved the flavor combinations and they tasted so healthy and satisfying. I will definitely make these again.
these were only average in my opinion. i did find them dry, but i think that was because they were over cooked. i also didnt find them spicy at all. i will make them again and add much more chili powder and maybe a chopped chili into the bean mix. i did like that they were so cheap and easy to make, a real store cupboard meal, and they did come out nice and crispy and kept the round shape. i will make them again, but with a few changes.
We really enjoyed these and they also froze well. We like spicy foods so next time I plan on adding a jalapeno to the recipe or using chipolte chili powder. I didn't have enough of the breadcrumb mixture but that was an easy fix. Will make these again!
I thought these were great.... no problems..... Although the fiber and protein are high, I still substituted 1/4 C TVP(textured vegetable protein)and then used the 1/3C breadcrumbs........... My husband really liked them and (thanks to fiber, etc.) was not hungry later, and would like to have them in future. Yea !
