Yummy!

I loved these! I love oatmeal chocolate chip cookies, so I just left the oats whole instead of grounding them up, and it seemed like it did not affect the consistency of the cookie (I used the quick-cooking oats). I also added some sliced almonds to the batter, because I like nuts in my cookies, too. I couldn't believe how many chocolate chips were in each cookie! Usually, I feel skimped on chocolate chips, but every cookie had a perfect amount of chocolate chips. The cookies were not all eaten the day they were made, but I thought they tasted just as good the next day!

Loaded with chocolate chips, easy to make

Wonderful...despite my mistake!!

I followed the recipe exactly...except I forgot to add the oil so the batter was a little difficult to handle. I rolled the batter into balls and pushed them down onto the cookie sheet. They were delicious...a wonderful cookie but almost with a scone consistency...we kept going back for more. I'll be making these again...without the oil!

Satisfies our cookie...chocolate...sweet craving!

OMG!!!

After reading all of the rave reviews, I decided to make these cookies. The only modification I made was using organic all-purpose flour since I didn't have any wheat flour in the house. I wanted to wait until after dinner to try one but they looked and smelled so good that I couldn't resist! All I can say is...WOW!! I had another one after dinner, too, and was still impressed. My husband and MIL couldn't believe it when I told them they were healthy and only 99 calories each! I got 2 dozen cookies...some bigger and some smaller. If you're debating on whether or not to try these, debate no more. I can't wait to try making them with the almond meal and wheat flour and playing around with the recipe further.

Bev's Chocolate Chip Cookies...these won't last long!!

Perfect

I've always wanted to try this recipe and I finally did last week. I made them for my sister for school desserts and she LOVES them! I love the crunchiness from the ground oats - but you can't tell that there is oats in them. I did the recommended heaping teaspoon portion and made 56 cookies! They are perfect bite size cookies. Have had a request to make a double batch next time around. Thank you!!!!!

Amazing taste

considering there's very little butter in this recipe, the cookies tasted far better than i thought they would. The whole family loved them. I used olive oil, 2/3 cup evaporated cane juice sugar instead of the other sugars listed in the recipe, and quick-cooking oats, and the taste was amazing! These are chunky, crunchy cookies, and take exactly 15 minutes to cook. i also love the use of rolled oats.
