I was looking forward to this meal since I love cabbage and beef together. I made the sauce in a larger amount as some reviewers recommended. I did not like the peanut sauce at all. The peanut butter made it really heavy, gritty and too sweet (and I didn't add the sugar the recipe calls for). I think I might try it again without the peanut butter and see how it tastes. Bummed me out that it wasn't that good.
Beef & Cabbage Stir-Fry with Peanut Sauce

The subtly sweet peanut sauce blends deliciously in this beef, cabbage and carrot sauté. Spice up the dish with a few dashes of your favorite hot sauce. Serve with udon noodles.

I would recommend more aromatics for the peanut sauce: ginger, tamarind, lemongrass, shallot and something with some heat (I used one poblano). Also, I added fish sauce and coconut milk. I've made peanut sauce before so I just stuck with my stand-by recipe.
I am not sure what I did wrong. The peanut sauce was gritty and not "subtly sweet" Maybe I just don't like peanut sauce? Anyway, I ditched the sauce, and made a different one that I had from a Beef with Broccoli recipe. I served it with Rice. The cabbage, carrots and beef were great!
Would not recommend udon noodles. For teh amount of calories, the satiety of them is not that great.
