Chile Verde, usually a slow-cooked stew of pork, jalapeños and tomatillos, becomes an easy weeknight meal with quick-cooking ground beef and store-bought green salsa. Make it a Meal: Serve with fresh cilantro, red onion and Monterey Jack. Add cornbread on the side and your favorite hot sauce.

I absolutely love this recipe. It's a simple chili recipe that doesn't take long.

I am just learning to cook. It was simple to follow and the best part was that is was delicious. My husband and my daughter ate it, both of whom are very picky.

I would have to say this was AWESOME! I made it more as a soup, added a little more enchilada sauce, added cheese and sour cream to the top and then used a spoon and tortilla chips to eat it. Really good!

Good flavor. Had to add extra chili powder, some jalapeno and scotch bonnets. I used Desert Pepper rio salsa which has a great flavor. If you're wanting to eat it as chili and not taco filling I'd recommend adding another can of beans though. Also threw in some fresh corn.

Fantastic! Husband and kids loved it. They've asked me to make it a weekly meal. Used Trader Joe's Green Salsa, topped with cilantro and cheddar and served with warm tortillas.

this was delish! made just as the recipe states and added a can of black beans as well. herdez salsa verde is the best green salsa for the dish. don't listen to those negative reviews where they don't follow the recipe!

This dish was PERFECT! Hubby and I both loved it. I love black beans so I added a can of that too. The onions and peppers add freshness and are so yummy. I will make this again and again, it is the BEST dish I've made since I started cooking around 6 months ago.

This tasted so good, but I bought the green jalepeno salsa by mistake. this really makes it to spicy to eat for most people, I managed a few bites, my kids couldn't eat it at all. So be careful and pay attention to what salsa you get 16 oz of jalepenos is really to much!

I am obsessed with eating well's recipes. This one was middle of the road, however. Granted, I used ground turkey instead of beef and didn't have taco sauce so I used pico de gallo. I also added two diced summer squashes. I probably won't make this again.
