Chile Verde, usually a slow-cooked stew of pork, jalapeños and tomatillos, becomes an easy weeknight meal with quick-cooking ground beef and store-bought green salsa. Make it a Meal: Serve with fresh cilantro, red onion and Monterey Jack. Add your favorite hot sauce.

"This recipe was great and so quick. I used 94% lean ground turkey, added some corn and also added a little tomato paste to thicken it up and give it some color. I only used an 8 oz jar of green taco sauce because I didn't realize it...

LOVED THIS!!!! Substituted ground turkey for the beef, little extra chili powder and cayenne...I am in cajun country and we like spice. We ate it on tortilla chips, would be great on flour or corn tortillas too!

Super easy recipe that has a great kick to it! Even using a salsa verde that was lower in Sodium than many of the others I found at the store, it was still a bit on the salty side for my personal tastes. I toned it down with some frozen corn and a chopped tomato. Tasted great. Next time I think I'll try adding some cooked elbow noodles. I may not be able to legitimately call it "chili" after that, but I think that'll better suit the needs of my more "delicate" palate. : )

Substituted soy "meat" crumbles for the ground beef, since I'm a vegetarian, and it was delish.
My husband LOVED it, which surprised me since he doesn't like verde sauce of any kind.
Definitely will make again.

Loved it! But the salsa I used was farrrr too spicy! Watch out! This chili's a scorcher!

Love it's simple ingredients and yet amazing flavors!! oh and healthy!
I always have salsa verde in my pantry after making this!
