Enjoy this fresh tomato sauce hot or cold. Its bold flavor is delicious in a simple pasta salad or topping any protein just off the grill.

  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1½ cups diced tomatoes (about 3 medium)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped white onion
  • 2 teaspoons finely chopped fresh marjoram
  • Ground pepper to taste

  1. Mash garlic and salt with a fork or the side of a chef's knife. Combine tomatoes, onion, marjoram and the garlic paste in a medium bowl. Season with pepper.
