Radishes with Whipped Butter & Sea Salt

“Radishes and butter are a classic French combination. Serve this simple party tray in the springtime when radishes are at their peak. For the prettiest party platter, look for different radish varieties at your local grocery store or farmers' market, including watermelon, purple ninja, black, green, French breakfast, blush, cherry belles and Easter radishes.”


    • 1 pound salted butter, at room temperature
    • 1 teaspoon flaky sea salt, such as Maldon
    • 5 or 6 medium assorted radishes, thinly sliced
    • 1 pound small radishes with greens attached (about 2 bunches)
    • 1 (18 to 20 inch) whole-wheat baguette, sliced


  • 1 Whip butter with a whisk (or in a stand mixer with whip attachment) until light and fluffy. Spoon into a small serving bowl or ramekin and sprinkle with salt. Arrange radishes and baguette slices on a platter, tray or board and serve with the whipped butter.
