“In this easy lemon dill sauce recipe, a combination of reduced-fat sour cream and mayonnaise is a winner, producing an exceptionally creamy sauce. Chopped dill pickles add an interesting texture as well as an appealing tart flavor, making this the perfect sauce to serve with fish.”


    • ¼ cup reduced-fat sour cream
    • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
    • 2 tablespoons chopped dill pickles
    • 1½ tablespoons chopped fresh dill
    • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
    • ⅛ teaspoon kosher salt
    • ⅛ teaspoon ground pepper


  • 1 Stir sour cream, mayonnaise, pickles, dill, lemon juice, salt and pepper together in a small bowl until combined.
  • To make ahead: Refrigerate for up to 2 days.
