Everything Bagel Seasoning

“If you can't get to the grocery store that sells the famous Everything but the Bagel Seasoning Blend, you can make your own homemade everything seasoning so you always have some on hand. You'll find myriad ways to use this savory mix, from scrambled eggs to pasta, oatmeal to grilled chicken.”


    • 1 tablespoon dried minced garlic
    • 1 tablespoon dried minced onion
    • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
    • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
    • 1 tablespoon salt
    • 1½ teaspoons ground pepper


  • 1 Combine dried garlic, dried onion, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, salt and pepper in a small bowl. Store in an airtight jar or other container for up to 3 months. Stir well to recombine after storing.
  • To make ahead: Store airtight for up to 3 months.
