This homemade snack mix is easy to prepare—crunchy crackers, cereal squares, and miniature pretzels are flavored with a zesty salsa-inspired seasoning mix that takes just minutes to throw together. Bake until crisp and then set it out at a party or offer it to your kids for a fun after-school snack.

  • 1 cup reduced-fat square-shaped white Cheddar cheese crackers or reduced-fat squared-shaped cheese crackers
  • 1 cup unsalted, fat-free miniature pretzel twists or rounds
  • 1½ cups crispy corn and rice cereal
  • ½ cup almonds
  • 1 cup coarsely broken baked tortilla chips
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • ½ teaspoon chili powder
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F. Combine crackers, pretzels, cereal, almonds, and tortilla pieces in a 13x9-inch baking pan; set aside.
  2. Whisk together oil, lime juice, parsley, crushed red pepper, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt in a small bowl. Pour over the cracker mixture in pan; toss until well coated.
  3. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes, stirring twice. Spread the snack mix on a large sheet of foil and let cool.
