  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Place sandwich thin halves, cut sides up, on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for 5 minutes.

  • Meanwhile, stir together tomato sauce, Italian seasoning, and crushed red pepper in a small bowl. Spread the pre-baked sandwich thins with the sauce mixture. Top with sausage and bell pepper. Sprinkle with cheese. Bake about 8 minutes more or until the cheese is melted and bubbly. If desired, sprinkle with additional Italian seasoning.
