  • 16½ inch thick baguette slices
  • 3 ounces thinly sliced part-skim mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup seeded and chopped fresh red, orange, and/or yellow tomato
  • 2 tablespoons small fresh basil leaves or snipped fresh basil

  1. Broil baguette slices, 3 to 4 inches from heat, until toasted (1 to 2 minutes per side). Top toasted bread slices with mozzarella cheese. If desired, broil to melt cheese, about 1 minute. Top with tomato and fresh basil leaves.
