¼ cup peanut butter
4 slices firm-texture whole wheat bread
2 tablespoons strawberry spreadable fruit
1 large banana
Butter-flavor nonstick cooking spray
Divide peanut butter between 2 of the bread slices, spreading evenly. Spread 1 tablespoon of the spreadable fruit on top of the peanut butter on each slice. Top with the 2 remaining bread slices, pressing firmly to make 2 sandwiches. Cut each sandwich into 8 "squares." Cut banana into 16 slices.
Using eight 6- to 8-inch skewers (see Tip), alternately thread 2 sandwich squares and 2 banana slices on each skewer. Coat sandwich squares and banana with cooking spray.
For a charcoal or gas grill, grill skewers on the rack of a covered grill directly over medium-low heat 3 to 4 minutes or until warm, turning every minute to brown evenly.
Tip: If using wooden skewers, soak in enough water to cover for 30 minutes; drain before using.
