There's no added sugar in this warm fruit compote—just a couple teaspoons of honey! Apples, grapes, and cherries are roasted in a buttery sauce flavored with lemons and cinnamon, and then served warm over cold vanilla ice cream. Delicious!

  • 3 medium red cooking apples, cored and cut into 1-inch wedges
  • 2 cups frozen unsweetened pitted dark sweet cherries
  • 1 cup seedless red grapes
  • 2 tablespoons light butter with canola oil, melted
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¾ cup no-sugar-added vanilla ice cream
  • Chopped pecans (optional)
  • Fresh mint (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F. Combine apples, cherries, and grapes in a 3-qt. rectangular baking dish.
  2. Combine melted butter, lemon juice, honey, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Drizzle the mixture over the fruit; toss to coat. Roast for about 25 minutes or until tender, gently stirring once.
  3. Serve the roasted fruit with ice cream. If desired, top with pecans and mint.
