An interesting play of textures—the chewy bagel, the creamy cheese and the crunchy granola—make this low-fat treat highly satisfying.

  • ½ cup light tub-style cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh blueberries, mashed slightly
  • 1½ tablespoons packed brown sugar (see Tip)
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 whole-wheat mini bagels, split and toasted
  • ½ cup low-fat granola

  1. In a small bowl combine cream cheese, slightly mashed blueberries, brown sugar, and cinnamon. Beat with an electric mixer on medium speed until well combined. Cover and chill for up to 2 hours. Stir before using.
  2. Spread on toasted mini bagel halves. Top each serving with 1 tablespoon granola.
  • Tip: We do not recommend using a sugar substitute for this recipe.
  • People with celiac disease or gluten sensitivity should use granola that is labeled "gluten-free," as oats are often cross-contaminated with wheat and barley.
