It's easy to stop at a frozen yogurt shop to buy something sweet but when you make the treat yourself, you can ensure it fits right into your meal plan. This honey flavored frozen yogurt recipe uses fat-free Greek yogurt and makes 8 servings!

  • 3 ounces plain fat-free Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 vanilla bean, split lengthwise
  • Fresh mint leaves

  1. In a medium bowl combine yogurt, buttermilk, honey, and lemon juice. Scrape the seeds from the vanilla bean and add to the yogurt mixture; discard bean. Stir yogurt mixture to combine. Transfer to a 1½- to 2-quart ice cream freezer. Freeze according to manufacturer's directions. Transfer to a freezer container and ripen for 4 hours in the freezer.
  2. If needed, let stand 10 minutes to soften slightly before serving. Garnish servings with mint leaves.
