  • In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy; beat in orange marmalade and almond extract. If desired, place cream cheese mixture in a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip.

  • If using strawberries, figs, or cherries, slice off a small portion of the stem ends; set aside. If using cherries or apricots, pit them. Pipe or spoon cream cheese mixture on top of fruit. If using strawberries, figs, or cherries, replace stem ends of fruit.

  • Serve immediately or cover with foil or plastic wrap and chill for up to 1 hour before serving.

Tips

Tip: If necessary, cut small slices from rounded sides of fruit halves so they do not roll on the serving plate.
