Creamy Fruit Morsels
In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until fluffy; beat in orange marmalade and almond extract. If desired, place cream cheese mixture in a pastry bag fitted with a large star tip.Advertisement
If using strawberries, figs, or cherries, slice off a small portion of the stem ends; set aside. If using cherries or apricots, pit them. Pipe or spoon cream cheese mixture on top of fruit. If using strawberries, figs, or cherries, replace stem ends of fruit.
Serve immediately or cover with foil or plastic wrap and chill for up to 1 hour before serving.
Tip: If necessary, cut small slices from rounded sides of fruit halves so they do not roll on the serving plate.
