  • 1 medium apple, cut into 12 slices
  • 3 ounces butterscotch-flavor pieces, melted
  • ⅛ teaspoon shortening or coconut oil
  • 3 tablespoons finely chopped toasted pecans
  • 1½ teaspoons maple syrup
